Michelle Perez-Macias
CPA
Michelle moved to SWFL in July 2005 with her husband and two young boys. Soon after, she enrolled in Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and successfully obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting & Taxation. Upon completion of her degree programs Michelle obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure.
Over the past 20+ years Michelle has had quite a diversified career in accounting. She has gained experience as an Auditor for Non-Profit and Government Agencies, worked as a business consultant streamlining internal accounting processes, and teaching accounting at the collegiate level for Hodges University. In prior years she owned a local tax preparation practice which specialized in small business accounting and IRS audit representation. She left the public accounting industry to manage a multi million dollar real-estate brokerage’s accounting office.
All of the experience mentioned above and a passion for helping others is what led her back into Public Accounting with Macias Consulting INC. which merged recently to become Macias, Weiss & Associates INC. In addition to being a highly motivated professional Michelle enjoys her time away from the office with her family, running, and working out.
Vince Macias
Master Minion Coordinator
Is the office go to guy for any of the office or technology needs. Although he enjoys assisting Michelle (his wife) with all of the office duties, his passion is in Public Safety. He has had a diversified 20 year career in public safety working as a Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, Training Officer, and is currently employed with a local southwest Florida Fire & Rescue Department as a Firefighter Paramedic.
If you don’t find him in the office he’s probably doing his best to save a life or putting out a fire. What he values most is spending time with his family, jeeping or cycling.
